- If you are prone to ear wax, please ask your local doctor to clean them.
- Please don’t drink alcohol or smoke cigarettes for 24 hours prior to tests.
- Do not take any sleeping tablets, or any tablets for dizziness or nausea, for at least 2 days before the test. Please check with your doctor to make sure this is safe.
- All other regular medications should be taken as usual, especially blood pressure pills.
- Please do not eat or drink for 3 hours before the test. (If you are diabetic,consult your local doctor first).
- Please do not wear any makeup or mascara.
- Cancellation: If you need to cancel or re-schedule, please call us at least 24 hours prior to your appointment, to allow other patients to use that time slot.
- Please bring to your appointment any previous audiograms (hearing tests) if possible. Alternatively, we can call a hearing clinic, if you know where the audiogram was performed.
